Internship duration: 6 months
Salary: 800 EUR (gross)
Employment type: Full time/Part time
Working model: Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office
The team: You will work with colleagues from Switzerland, Netherlands and Riga on an international team.

Job requirements
1.Automation for Data Insight Platforms with Elastic & Splunk
Join our Data Insights team and help automate testing, upgrades and patching for our Elastic and Splunk platforms. You will develop automation solutions that make future platform maintenance more efficient, reliable and scalable. Alongside automation, you will gain hands-on experience in DevOps and support the team in day-to-day operations of our data insight services.
Must haves: Kubernetes, Python, Git
Nice to have: CI/CD, Grafana, Splunk, Docker, Elasticsearch
Workload: Full-time or part-time
2.Microfrontend (Angular) communication with backend microservices (Java SpringBoot)
You will have the opportunity to join one of Swisscom’s key business areas, MySwisscom Business, which focuses on serving small and medium-sized business customers.You will see full scope of process from idea through implementation until maintaining. If interested in Frontend be ready to work and learn Angular, touch security and connect with backend using microservices. For broader picture we can add on top monitoring and operation tools to get real DevOps Engineer experience. By the way, we are actively using different AI tools provided within Swisscom, so it is chance to see modern working IT environment.
Must haves: Angular, Java, Git
Nice to have: SpringBoot, CI/CD

3.Security Consulting for Modern Cloud Infrastructure
Join our cybersecurity consulting team and help secure real-world cloud and enterprise environments. You will assist with security assessments, vulnerability reviews, client reporting, and DevSecOps initiatives while working alongside experienced consultants. Gain hands-on experience with Cloud Security, Microservices, IAM, SIEM platforms, automation, and modern security tooling in a collaborative consulting environment.
Must haves: Python, Kubernetes, DB
Ability to understand and analyze system architecture and network diagrams
Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and application architectures
Nice to have: Python, Machine Learning, AWS, Splunk
Workload: Full-time or part-time
4.Cloud Engineer with Maze
The Maze Squad builds and operates ANPE, Swisscom's internal orchestration platform for access network automation. We work in a collaborative DevOps environment, tackling complex challenges around change management, service impact analysis and fiber network automation - at a scale few companies can offer. Our stack spans Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, Vue.js, Grafana, ArgoCD & GitLab.
Must haves: CI/CD, Kubernetes, Git
Nice to have: Docker, AWS, SpringBoot, Grafana, Splunk
Workload: Full-time
5.AI-Supported Risk Alignment and Decision-Making Process
Help transform Swisscom’s risk management by building an AI-supported workflow that enables experts to review and assess risks asynchronously. The AI will prepare structured decision packages, combining completeness checks, expert perspectives, past decisions, and risk management best practices. You will help build a reusable AI solution that supports faster, better-informed decisions while keeping accountability with human stakeholders.
Must haves: Git, CI/CD, Python
Nice to have: Machine Learning
Workload: Full-time or part time
